Meg Rotzel

The Big Shadow and how I met you there is a collaborative performance that animates artist Meg Rotzel’s ceramic sculptures by theater-maker Bonnie Duncan. Bonnie uses techniques of shadow puppetry to communicate their shared physical and emotional experiences of disability. Initiated as a private exercise between the two, the 6-minute work in progress was performed at the Modern Theater in Boston and workshopped at Puppet Blok at Dixon Place in New York in June 2025.
